This tax is borne by the owner and is calculated on the basis of the &#8216;cadastral value&#8217; of the property.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-44039b4 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"44039b4\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0efb93a elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"0efb93a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Municipal Capital Gains\n<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5d15aa2 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"5d15aa2\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Officially known as &#8216;Impuesto Sobre el Incremento de Valor de los Terrenos de Naturaleza Urbana&#8217;, this tax is levied on the increase in value of urban land at the time of sale, excluding the value of buildings. It is calculated on the &#8216;cadastral value&#8217; of the land at the time of accrual, with a revaluation according to the years elapsed since the last transfer.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b63e21f e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"b63e21f\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6533433 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"6533433\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Property Transfer Tax\n<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4b228b3 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4b228b3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Value Added Tax&#8217; (VAT), applicable at 10% on new, second-hand and unregistered properties.
